Psychedelic Rock Jamband
The Desert Furs are an electrifying psychedelic rock and jam quartet based in Boulder County, Colorado. Formed in 2019, the band consists of guitarist and lead singer, Billy Wassung, Jon Studtmann on bass and vocals, Cody Bump on keyboards, synths and vocals, and Alex Thiessen on drums and percussion.
Drawing inspiration from the rich legacy and funky grooves of the 1960’s and 70’s, The Desert Furs weave a unique compositional tapestry of original songs with luscious tones, atmospheric textures, and ethereal vocal harmonies. Their music takes listeners on a transcendental sonic journey through kaleidoscopic landscapes, where rhythmic improvisations collide with an inspiring message of love.
